  Mandorla Music presents the Dylan Jack Quartet, Fri 10/19 at 8pm at Third Life Studio, 33 Union Sq.  Drummer and composer Dylan Jack's band also includes Eric Hofbauer on guitar, Todd Brunel on reeds, and Tony Leva on bass.  Of the compositions on their 2017 debut Diagrams, one critic wrote, "...like sailboats dancing upon waves along the horizon.... quirky modern jazz inflections that make unconventional turns of phrase sound like old sayings. "  They'll also be sharing some of Dylan's new work as they prepare to record the follow-up.
