Ian Douglas-Moore is a NYC-based musician and sound artist whose work utilizes guitar, electronic sounds, and field recordings. His main interest is in examining the textures of resonant sounds as they engage with acoustic space through an approach to sound-making on the guitar that is largely self-taught and highly original. These directions take the form of recorded works, concerts both solo and in collaboration with others, and sound installations - generally following a curiosity about the way sounds are perceived and understood. He currently studies just intonation tuning systems with renowned microtonal guitarist David First and co-organizes a biweekly experimental music series WOrK, with founder and acclaimed guitarist/bagpiper David Watson. www.soundcloud.com/id-m

Paul N. Roth is an improviser, composer, musicologist, writer, theorist, Roth works through a variety of means for the less-conventional, sometimes surprising declaration of sound and its organization in time, space, etc. His solo work in particular re-conceives accepted roles for the saxophone, disguising much of the instrument's long improvising history for an approach that is somehow unique and original. He has also more- recently directed his focus towards the personal, normal, and everyday - through an on-going series of audio books, text pieces, and radio works.
Roth has traveled widely with his music, including throughout the United States and Europe, but also in Russia, Japan, Mexico, India, Australia, North Africa, and the Middle East. He has published works on SNP Records (USA), Oak Editions (IT), AUT Records (IT), Creative Source (PT), Hail Ants (IT), Honor Roll (USA), along with a forthcoming release on Emitter Micro (DE). He additionally co-directs Earwash records (between NYC and Berlin), and serves on the curatorial team for Ausland-Berlin, one of Europe's most important venues for experimental music. Douglas-Moore & Roth's collaborative output may best be described as sonic adventures in a land of textural tamperings, microtonal manipulation, meandering sound walls, and other ear curiosities.

Eric Hofbauer has been an integral member of Boston's jazz scene as a musician, bandleader, organizer and educator for the past twenty years. He has performed and recorded alongside such notable collaborators as Han Bennink, Roy Campbell, Jr., John Tchicai, Garrison Fewell, Cecil McBee, Steve Swell and Matt Wilson.

Hofbauer is perhaps best known for his solo guitar work featured in a trilogy of solo guitar recordings (American Vanity, American Fear and American Grace). Of the trilogy, Andrew Gilbert of The Boston Globe writes, "No other guitarist in jazz has developed a solo approach as rigorous, evocative, and thoughtful as Hofbauer."
