Two great job opportunities: Regional Arts & Culture Planner and Arts & Culture Intern
Hello,
I hope this message finds you well! I wanted to ask for your help in disseminating two exciting job opportunities to your networks. The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) is hiring for a Regional Arts and Culture Planner and a spring 2018 Arts & Culture Intern. We are looking to fill both positions by early 2018.
Position descriptions are attached and the online application links will be posted to our NEOGov jobs page by the end of the day: http://agency.governmentjobs. com/mapc/default.cfm
MAPC's Arts & Culture Division is currently a three-person team and includes a regional Arts & Culture Planner, an Artist-in-Residence, and me. Our Division's mission is to stimulate a creative shift in the planning culture at MAPC and in our region in ways that accelerate smart growth and livability while also fostering policy and planning conditions that allow the arts and culture sector to thrive. Our work is interdisciplinary and involves collaboration with city and town planning and community development departments, other MAPC departments including Public Health, Land Use, Environment, and Clean Energy, and partners in other sectors including arts organizations and educational institutions. We are in an exciting phase of growth and have a roster of projects starting up in the spring and are looking for two dynamic people to join us!
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the positions are filled. We will begin review of applications in early December with a goal of filling these positions within the next three months.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and thank you again for helping to spread the word through your networks!
