Banned Books Read-a-Thon on 9/30
The Somerville Public Library and Somerville Media Center invite you to celebrate your right to read!
Come and read excerpts from various banned books! If you wish to participate, just show up with a book that has been threatened to be banned or pick from a reading that the library provides.
The event will take place at the Somerville Public Library (Central Library) on Saturday, September 30 from 11 AM to 2 PM at 79 Highland Ave.
Can't stay for the whole thing? No worries! Drop in, read or listen, and leave when you need to. Food will be provided by Cuisine en Locale.
