Youth Arts Arise Fall 2016 Semester!
We wanted to remind you that our free afterschool program Youth Arts Arise runs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:00 pm, October 4th through December 14th (excluding November 22 and 23).
This week's classes:
Collaborative Drawing Tue. Oct. 25 from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Participants will work together using both traditional and unconventional media to underscore the notion that art is often a collective, not individual, act.
Life Drawing Wed. Oct. 26 from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Participants will learn techniques of still life; they will learn how to look at something carefully and translate what they see into a drawing. They will learn different approaches to line, value, form, and space, as well as discover new artists.
To register, you can either fill in the All LanguagesYAA Form, Fall 2016 or pick one up in person from the office.
