West Branch Library Renovation Community Meeting
Dear Colleagues, There is a Community Meeting scheduled for 6:30pm-8:30pm, on Mon Nov 14th at the Community Baptist Church, 31 College Ave.
The purpose of the meeting is to present two designs for the West Branch library renovation: 1) to renovate and make the building accessible; and 2) to renovate, make the building accessible and add meeting rooms, an auditorium and a maker space.
We could use your help in spreading the word, and if possible, your participation at the meeting to advocate on behalf of the second option, which would provide the community much-needed meeting spaces, both small and large, and a space for residents, including students, to learn, innovate and create high and low tech projects, free of charge. The proposed auditorium would also be available after-hours, by the community for meetings, performances, and private events.
