FabVille will be running several tours of the facility on the Thursdays of October 20th and October 27th from 5:00 to 7:30pm

Did you miss the grand opening of Somerville's new public Fab Lab, "FabVille," at the Somerville High School? No problem! FabVille will be running several tours of the facility on the Thursdays of October 20th and October 27th from 5:00 to 7:30pm by appointment.

Please email Ben Sommer at bsommer@somervillema.gov to reserve your spot on the tour.



FabVille is a publicly funded and operated Fabrication Laboratory complete with a variety of tools for public use including:

· Shopbot Buddy Standard, 48”

· Plasma cutter, 2’x4’

· Epilog Mini laser cutter, 40w

· Roland vinyl cutter, 24”

· Roland monoFAB SRM-20 desktop milling machine

· Ultimaker + 3D printer

· Formlabs 1 3D printer

· Makerbot Replicator 2X

· Soldering station

Starting in November FabVille will open for Somerville residents after school hours from 3:00 to 8:00pm.



FabVille will also be running FREE programming this fall. Sign up for computational art and tool training classes now!



FabVille is always looking for suggestions on new programming and uses for the space. Don't be shy with suggestions. This is your Fab Lab!
