The Opposites Game - A one-act work that explores opposing themes in four distinct chapters: Hot v. Cold, Agitated v. Tranquil, Tense v. Slack and Together v. Alone. The choreography is complex and rigorous with a movement language that blends modern dance, ballet, athleticism and subtle idiosyncracies that result in a unique and provocative dance language.
Performed by: Andrea Blesso Albuquerque, Michael Figueroa, Maggie Foster, Maggie Husak, Jenny Lustig, Mary McCarthy, Caitlyn Schrader, Yuka Takahashi, Kathryn Dunkel Zeek
EgoArt, Inc. was founded in 1999 by Artistic Director Nicole Pierce and has created over 30 dance works for company that have been performed throughout New England and New York City. Pierce has been called an "unrestrained talent" by Thea Singer (Boston Globe) and her work has been hailed as "expansive, muscular movement etched with vivid detail" by Karen Campbell (Boston Globe).
