Save the date: May 30 discussion for parents who are artists/writers/etc.
Are you a parent and an artist / musician / writer / you-name-it?
If so, we hope you'll join the conversation. "how to be an artist and a parent" is a discussion series, and an online forum to Boston-area creative folks with kids.
Being a parent is pretty challenging. And raising a kid while trying to be an artist/writer/you-name-it can feel pretty overwhelming– especially when you throw in Boston’s insanely high cost of living. But we’re creative people. Maybe if we get together and talk and listen, we can find ways to support each other.

Join us on Saturday, May 30th, from 2 to 4:00pm at the Somerville Public Library at 79 Highland Ave in Somerville. Three creative parents (Jef Czekaj, Jennifer Johnson and Trudi Cohen) will share how they balance their lives, and then we'll discuss it all as a group.
