RECYCLE ARTIST HAS STUFF TO GIVE AWAY... AND NEEDS STUFF
I am a recycle artist and people give me their old stuff to use in my doll making and classes. Over the years I have accumulated a weird collection of stuff that I just have no use for and need to get rid of for my own mental health, but I don't want to trash it. Please see list below for what I have and what I am looking for myself:
I HAVE:
- box full of old metal stuffs and such/some old bits of toys and plastic as well as parts stripped from old computers and phones. Lots of cords and probably old chargers and phones. Not sure at this point.
- fabrics/old clothing- mostly smaller pieces of fabric and some larger pieces as well, scraps and decorator samples, some squares and rectangles intended for quilting. maybe some old tees.
- random clothing sizes from kids to plus.
- smallish random bits of wood.
- some lace I'm willing to part with very cheaply.
- lots of denim scraps from someone who makes skirts from jeans
- some beige knit tubing (for easy skirts/tops/head wraps etc.)
- various pieces of brown and green camo.
- piece of red stretch lace (maybe 2-3 yds)
- pink sheer curtains ( not sure of size or condition) could be used in recycled dressmaking.
- massive roll of bubble wrap..... Please save me from the bubble wrap!!!!!!
-
FOR SALE CHEEEEEEP!
- huge number of sewing patterns, including:
vintage, historical, costume, bridal, evening, sleep wear, etc. Mostly women's/some larger/plus sizes, kid's and men's as well.
Willing to do some bartering for the pieces I intend to keep. Always looking for new fabrics and such. See list below:
I Need:
PLEASE WARN ME IN ADVANCE IF YOU HAVE FURRY PETS - THE FUR AND DANDER TENDS TO AFFIX ITSELF TO THINGS AND HIDE IN FABRIC ITEMS AND I AM USUALLY KNEE DEEP, ITCHING AND SNEEZING BEFORE I REALIZE IT. I will need to be prepared for how to handle items.
- tiny quilt/sewing scraps (any colors/patterns) ethnic prints would be highly prized.
- yarn (any color and size, any length)
- any sewing, needle point, cross stitch. macramé, knitting supplies you don't want.
- old junk jewelry ( broken or parts missing or unstrung are all welcome).
- those old Mardi Gras beads everyone keeps, but does nothing with.
- old (used is okay) greeting cards.
- old socks/stockings/pantyhose. Must be laundered.
- acrylics (paint or pastels) don't care if used.
- old paint brushes (dried on paint is okay).
- glues or tape of any sort you don't want, even small bits.
- any type of art or printer paper you want to get rid of. (Used is fine)
- old pillows/comforters or plush toys/dolls that have seen better days and to be discarded ) CLEAN PLEASE. :)
- string and rope (any type or length).
- old buttons (any kind)
- old, frames or ugly pictures in nice frames :D
- would sell my old dead mother for an old fashioned pencil sharpener like the teacher used to have bolted on his/her desk and/or sewing machines and sergers.
- old rusty washers, cogs, bolts and the like
- old dolls and doll parts (any material okay)
Some of the fabric may be cut into squares and rectangles because I was going to make bags, but never got around to it. There are pink sheer curtains
