SOMERVILLE ZONING NEWS FOR ARTS/MAKER ECONOMY - January 20, 2015

The city has released a draft of its new zoning, which includes changes that will effect arts development. See the press release below and a link to the city site for the full draft of the ordinance.

There will be a series of public meetings to review and comment the first one coming up next week.

The Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development will hold an information session on Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 6:30 p.m. at the Somerville Armory, 191 Highland Ave., which will include a presentation followed by an opportunity to review the code and map and discuss them with city staff.

I hope you can attend and engage in the process over the next couple of months.

Greg
