MLK Day A Day of Service for the Cambridge Community - January 19, 2015
Come join Many Helping Hands365 for Cambridge’s 5th Annual Cambridge MLK Day of Service on January 19th from 2-5pm. There will be a welcome gathering on the steps of City Hall at 2:00pm and the event will follow at City Hall, the Senior Center and the YWCA all in Central Square.
The event is free and open to the public! All ages are welcome to help with hands-on crafts projects that benefit Cambridge residents in need. Make fleece scarves and blankets for homeless children and adults; make valentines for elders and veterans; or sort food, winter clothing, books and toiletries for people in need and more!
Don’t come empty handed! Bring non-perishable food, gently used winter clothing or a children’s book for someone in need.
Come by yourself or come with friends or family. Sign up as an individual or group on EventBrite http://www.eventbrite.com/e/cambridge-ml... If you are interested in bringing a GROUP, please sign up as a GROUP or email us as soon as you can at info@manyhelpinghands365.org. Once we have your registration and numbers we can place you together.
