SCATV EVENTS - November 2014
1. Potluck and Lecture Series with Boston Indie Mafia: Thursday, November 13th from 7-9pm
In the spirit of collaboration & community, you are invited to the FREE SCATV Potluck and Lecture Series with Boston Indie Mafia on Thursday, November 13th at 7pm. Boston Indie Mafia is a group of regional production pros, performers, and creatives who provide a venue that helps connect filmmakers & foster support for local independents. RSVP here! 2. SCATV's 1st Annual Holiday Recording Event:
Saturday, November 22nd from 10:30am-3:30pm
You are invited to the SCATV studios for our 1st annual Holiday Greeting festivities! Did we mention it is free? Come with your family, friends, neighbors, work friends or solo to record your holiday greeting this season! We will have three holiday templates for you to choose from, we will put those into our Green Screen background, and you come prepared with your short recording (under 1minute) and we will make the video magic happen for you! We will upload those videos to our Youtube page, air them on our TV channel and you can also obtain the digital file at a later date with your thumb drive (by scheduling a time with SCATV staff). 3. SCATV's Panel on Community, Policing & Race: Monday, November 24th from 7-8pm
In response to recent events in Ferguson, Missouri, and around the country, SCATV and Somerville Line are co-producing a Public Panel on “Community, Police, and Race” on Monday, November 24 from 7:00-8:00pm. at SCATV (90 Union Square). This is open for audience members to attend and ask questions during the Q & A section.
