FREE SOMERVILLE SKILLSHARE CLASSES - November 17, 2014
The Somerville Skillshare team and Arts at the Armory are excited to announce the launch of a free Skillshare class series!
Following the wildly popular event at the Armory in March, we are bringing Somerville Skillshare to the Armory Café once a month starting in November.
There will be two different 50-minute classes per monthly session.
Our November 17th session will include “Don’t Make Art, Just Make Something” from 7:00-7:50 pm and “Imaginary Mapmaking” from 8:00-8:50 pm. The December 22nd classes will be announced soon!
Because of limited space in the café, we kindly ask that you RSVP via Eventbrite. There will be no formal registration, however, so space will be filled first come, first served.
What is Skillshare? On March 2nd, 2014, nearly 800 people attended the
first annual Somerville Skillshare, a free learning event that featured classes taught by nearly 40 local teachers. Now, we're turning this event into a monthly series so that we can continue to showcase the unique talents of local residents!
It’s a way to learn new skills, jump-start new hobbies, and meet other people with similar interests, all in a fun and informal setting. And best of all, it’s completely free!
We’d love to hear from you! If you have an idea for a class you’d like to see or if you’re interested in teaching a class, please contact us at somervilleskillshare@gmail.com
