CAMBRIDGE ART ASSOCIATION WINTER/SPRING EXHIBITIONS
It is with great pleasure that I announce Cambridge Art Association's Winter/Spring 2015 Exhibition schedule! As part of our CAA at 70 exhibition year, these exhibits serve to showcase the talents of the broad and diverse creative communities - locally and nationally - that are served by the Association. The range of talent both presenting and curating work in the coming season - Michael Rush (Broad Art Museum at Michigan State), Ali Ringenburg (Sloane Merrill Gallery), Stephen Tourlentes (MassArt), Alexander Campos (The Center for Book Arts, NY) - underscores the wealth of support within our community for emerging and mid-career artists.
Our Artist Members are the great strength of the Association. This coming spring, we will showcase two groups of artists members at the Kathryn Schultz Gallery - Fields of Viewpoints (Covert, Duffy, Selesnick, White) in March; and Gilbert, Gilbert & Morse (Wally Gilbert, Celia Gilbert, and Diana Morse) in April.
Our 70th exhibition year culminates with a series of important shows - the 14th National Prize Show, juried by Michael Rush; our annual New Members Show; and Just Around the (Charles) Riverbend, presented in conjunction with, and celebrating 40 years of the People for Riverbend Park Trust.
We hope you will stop by one of the galleries, connect with local art and artists, and continue supporting the Cambridge Art Association!

"Four artists whose work reflects various ranges, prospects, scans, scopes, observations, interpretations, and involvement. Four artists whose landscapes are seen from a distance, close up; from an impressionist approach to effecting detail; from realism to simplified stylization; from excavating abstractions from stone and reducing to essentials; from translating road trip views into powerful paintings; from the reduction of landscape to unique elements. Four artists whose work has a common textural feel, informed by the natural world through personal experiences: landscapes re-imagined."
