I write to let you know of exciting staffing changes at Barr Foundation in the arts and culture program. We will have two open positions in the Arts & Culture Program: Program Assistant and a newly created position of Program Officer.

Program Assistant
Lauren Woody, our great Program Assistant, will be leaving Barr Foundation to take a wonderful new position at Pilot House Family Philanthropy Office. If you have interacted with Lauren, you can appreciate how her gracious professionalism and astute insights have contributed mightily to our team and the Foundation.

Attached is the Program Assistant job announcement which has a deadline of November 7th. I ask you to quickly and thoughtfully reach out to your networks and help us find qualified candidates. You'll see that the position requires a minimum of two years working in arts and culture, so your contacts will be invaluable.

As our portfolio has greatly grown, we are creating a Arts & Culture Program Officer position. We will be conducting a national search - the job announcement and search details will be released soon.
