SOMERVILLE ARMORY FAMILY FUN DAY - October/November 2014
Happy Halloween Everyone!
The Armory of Horror at Arts at the Armory is looking for volunteers to bring friendly but spooky faces to Family Fun Day, on Nov. 1st. If you want to go all-out scary, it's not too late to join the nightmare scare techs and deranged characters in the evening sessions of the haunted Maze (Oct 30 - Nov 1). We've got a great maze crew, but for Halloween weekend, we could use a few more helpers! If you are interested in joining us, please check off your availability here.
Volunteer Roles
Family Fun Day - Nov 1 (from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm)
Kid-friendly characters: The nightly maze is SCARY. For Family Fun Day, we need less creepy characters to inhabit the maze and hand out trick-or-treat candy.
Arts and crafts helpers: Oversee and assist our younger visitors with a range of arts and crafts activities.
Costumes (kid-friendly!) preferred.
The nightly Haunted Maze (Oct 30, 31, Nov 1; 5-10:30 pm)
Scary characters and Pranksters: Be the heart and soul of our haunted maze! Dress up in costume, lurk in wait, and SCARE our guests. Bring your own costume, or we can provide one.
Scare Techs: Don't want to be visible? We need people behind the scenes pulling levers to make the mechanical scares work their magic! Come dressed in black.
All Volunteers recieve two free tickets per day to give to friends and family for this event.
