CREATIVE COMMUNITIES EXCHANGE - June 2-3, 2015

NEFA is pleased to announce that the next biennial

Creative Communities Exchange (CCX) http://www.nefa.org/events/creative_communities_exchange_0

will be June 2-3, 2015 in Keene, New Hampshire.

Creative Communities Exchange

See the 2013 CCX in action!

The CCX is a peer-to-peer exchange of the strategies used in successful creative economy initiatives around New England. This professional development event is for New England leaders who are engaged in creative economy and creative placemaking projects that leverage their local creative sector for the revitalization and growth of their broader community.

The content of the CCX is shaped by the participant's own experiences. Workshops are led by creative economy practitioners - or catalysts - from various sectors and types of organizations:
cultural nonprofits,
creative businesses,
economic development,
city planning,
philanthropy,
research,
government & more

CCX workshops have a specific 20:20:20 format to facilitate energetic exchange: 20 minutes of how-to presentation, 20 minutes of Q&A discussion, and 20 minutes of networking time.
The workshop leader application will open next month, so start spreading the word to your local creative economy initiative partners!

Arts Alive http://monadnockartsalive.org/ The hallmark of a strong creative economy is the collaboration between the arts sector and non-arts partners. CCX 2015 http://www.nefa.org/events/creative_communities_exchange_0 will take place in Keene, New Hampshire, a community that demonstrates strong cross-sector partnerships between the arts and local business, local government, the local colleges, the Monadnock region, and Arts Alive, this year's local host.
