MONTHLY SOMERVILLE GARDEN CLUB MEETING - May 14, 2014

Join the friendly gardeners of the Somerville Garden Club for their monthly meeting and a talk by Dr. Bryan Hamlin, chairman of the Friends of the Middlesex Fells. Dr. Hamlin will discuss the many varied habitats found in the Fells. His presentation will include slides of the habitats (mixed woodland, wetland, rocky outcrop, and more) and the scores of flowering plants that have adapted to these particular habitats. Dr. Hamlin will also lead a hike in the Fells this coming weekend.
The Somerville Garden Club meets the second Wednesday of every month; all meetings are free and the public is invited to attend. Parking is available on site and the building is a short walk rom the Davis Square T station. Meetings are on the second floor, wheelchair accessible.
