SOMERVILLE SKILLSHARE DAY - March 2, 2014
Somerville Skillshare is a day of free classes, taught and organized by local residents, at he Center for Arts at the Armory on Sunday, March 2nd.
RSVP: http://www.eventbrite.com/e/somerville-skillshare-tickets-10502139181
From 12 to 6 pm, the Armory will offer nearly 40 free classes from 40 different teachers in seven unique classroom spaces (performance hall, two conference rooms, yoga and dance studios, cafe, and mezzanine). Classes start at every hour on the dot and will be on a first come, first serve basis (we'll be posting the schedule on our site soon - stay tuned!)
Attendees can drop in and out during the day and take as many classes as they’d like, and enjoy some of FREE STUFF from our local sponsors (Flatbread Pizza, Taza Chocolate, Slumbrew and Q's Nuts).
It’s a way to learn new skills, jump-start new hobbies, and meet other people with similar interests, all in a fun and informal setting. And best of all, it’s completely free!
UPDATE: From 6-7 pm, we'll have a Skillshare social in the Armory Performance Hall where attendees can keep the conversations going. Featuring music, beer, and good times.
