HISTORIC SOMERVILLE LECTURE - February 23, 2014
Please join Historic Somerville for a wonderfully entertaining portrait of Charlestown Beyond the Neck, i.e. Somerville at the beginning of the American Revolution. Benjamin Carp, Assoc. Professor of History at Tufts University, renown author and entertaining speaker, will give a must see lecture that not only covers the facts that we know from history about Somerville's pivotal role in the Revolution, but also places it in context of many of the socio-economic movements occuring within the global landscape at that time.
