Artist Reception this Thursday 2.27.14 from 7-9pm at SCATV (90 Union Square, Somerville 02143) for ( A | MOR ) : Quantized Ephemera. Wine and cheese will be served.

( A | MOR ) : Quantized Ephemera is the title of Juhi Chandalia’s current exhibit at The SCATV Gallery. This artist enjoys working in acrylics, watercolors and pen and ink. Each of her paintings and drawings have a pensive yet very playful quality. Chandalia introduces herself as an artist, scientist and engineer which is clearly revealed in her painting, Emotion Factory. Her pen and ink composition entitled Mama Paisley and Chick Paisleys reflects the artist’s strong connection to her Indian roots. The painting Unraveling, has a mesmerizing 3D quality. And, those of you who have had to suffer the pangs of searching for that perfect dress, jacket or shoes can identify with the painting Beautiful Dress. Juhi Chandalia’s exhibit will also include a collection of humorous pen and ink drawings that are available as greeting cards.
