CALLING ALL CAMBRIDGE PERFORMING ARTISTS - January 20, 2014
A specially opportunity when you participate in the 2014 Cambridge Open Studios
April 26 & 27, 2014, 12-6pm
For the first time in its tradition, Cambridge Open Studios is offering two opportunities for local performing artists to showcase their talents! By signing up, performers can participate in one or both of the Performance Showcases during the Open Studios weekend April 26 and 27, 2014.
Saturday, April 26th Cambridge Community Television
Join other performers for a live taping of the showcase to broadcast on CCTV. Each performer will be given 20 minutes* of air time in front of a live studio audience. In past years, we have included theatrical performances, poetry recitation, DJ spinning and dance troupes.
Sunday, April 27th Cambridge Community Center
Performers will be center stage at one of our common venues in Central Cambridge.
Before Open Studios, performers can sign up to perform a 20 minute* set in front of a live audience. Drop in art activities will be scheduled between performances, with visitors to Open Studios coming by the space throughout the day.
*Does not include set up time. Performers are allowed 10 minutes for set up and break down.
Registration deadline for Open Studios: Monday, January 20,2014
