CAMBRIDGE RIVERSIDE GALLERY CALL FOR ARTISTS - November 15, 2013

Call to Artists:
From Me to You
A show of small works for giving and receiving in the holiday season
Riverside Gallery in Cambridge

What:

The Riverside Gallery and the Cambridge Community Center present: From Me to You, a small works show celebrating New England artists during the season of giving. This exhibit provides a wonderful opportunity to discover new artists and find unique gifts for family and friends while participating and supporting the local community.

All Artists are encouraged to submit work.
Deadline for application is November 15th, and the show will run from mid-November until mid-January. No fee to apply, $15 fee to participate.

Where:

The Riverside Gallery hosts shows of fine art year-round, providing opportunities for local and regional artists to exhibit their work. We welcome all art-lovers to attend our receptions and enjoy live music, refreshments, amazing art work, and an opportunity to spend time with friends, meet new friends, and talk to the artists about their work.

When:

Specs:

£ There is no fee to apply. There will be a $15 administrative fee per artist to participate in the show.
£ Work must be 2-D, or able to hang on the wall. This show is “small works,” so pieces should be priced between $50 -$300.
£ Pieces must be ready to hang; they may be framed and wired, or they may be sealed in clear bags, matted or not, and accompanied by a bulldog-type clip which you provide. The gallery will not be able to do any modifications of your work to make it hang-able.
£ In sales, Gallery retains 30%, artist receives 70%.
£ The Riverside Gallery has its home in the Cambridge Community Center which serves a broad population, including young children. The Riverside Gallery is very appreciative of the venue, and accepts the constraints of not displaying artworks including graphic violence, or graphic erotic works.
