CAMBRIDGE GALLERY CALL FOR EXHIBITION PROPOSALS - December 1, 2013
Curatorial Proposal Series
In Fall 2011, Gallery 263 hosted the first exhibition of the Curatorial Proposal Series. Gallery 263 requests artists and curators to submit proposals for our main exhibition program. Twice a year we review these exhibitions by committee for the upcoming season. The Series provides artists of all media and experience levels a chance to experiment with the organization and presentation of contemporary art.
Gallery 263 is accepting applications for its Winter/Spring 2014 exhibitions. At least 50% of exhibitions selected for the Curatorial Proposal Series will include local artists (from within the metro Boston area). Two exhibitions will be selected for Winter/Spring 2014. Group proposals are strongly encouraged.
Deadline for Submission: Sunday December 1, 2013, 11:59pm
Notification of selected exhibits by: Sunday December 15, 2013
Exhibition length: 4 weeks (including installation)
First Exhibit: January 9-February 1 (install 1/6-1/8)
Second Exhibit: February 13-March 8 (install 2/10-2/12)
Entry fee: $30. $5 discount if you attend a FREE Info Session
FREE Info Sessions: Thursday October 17, & Saturday November 2, 7pm.
First Info Session 10/10 RESCHEDULED to Thursday October 17.
Please join us for suggestions of how to make a strong proposal and Q&A, and a $5 discount on the application fee.

New England artists eligible for consideration: MA, NH, CT, RI, VT, ME
