CAMBRIDGE ART ASSOCIATION EVENTS - November 8, 2013
This week, the Cambridge Art Association
http://www.cambridgeart.org
is pleased to present two brand new shows: The Irony of Movement: 3 Artists at the Kathryn Schultz Gallery, and A Closer Look: Five Visions at University Place Gallery.
http://www.cambridgeart.org/a-closer-look-five-visions/
These small group shows form part of the backbone of the CAA, allowing our artist members to curate a show, and express a unique vision. I couldn't be more excited to present these two show simultaneously, as they represent the diversity of artwork created by our incredibly talented artist members.
I hope you will join the artists in celebrating the opening of
The Irony of Movement THIS FRIDAY, November 8, from 5:30-7:30, and the opening of A Closer Look: Five Visions NEXT FRIDAY, November 15, from 6-8pm.
Thank you to Vladimir Barsukov, Jan Powell, and Tim Wilson (
Irony of Movement: Three Artists) and Daniel Kornrumpf, Elizabeth Kostojohn, Yair Melamed, Patricia Schappler, and Ann Strassman ( A Closer Look: Five Visions) for sharing their beautiful work with us this month!
Come visit, and enjoy the show!
Erin Becker
Norma Jean Calderwood Director
Collaborative
* Please note: the Maud Morgan Arts/Cambridge Art Association Printmaking Collaborative, scheduled for Saturday, November 9 and Sunday November 10 has been cancelled due to under enrollment. We will move forward with the January session (click here for information). Make sure to register early!
