A Holiday Show and Sale open to any artist over the age of 17
November 16-December 21
Gallery Opening: Saturday, November 16, 2-4
Entry Fee: $15 per artist
GUIDELINES
Media: All 2- and 3-D media accepted (jewelry submissions must have their
own display cases). Wall-mounted work must be wired for hanging. Work for
bins should be shrink-wrapped or in sleeves. Only original work (no prints)
will be displayed on walls. No work which has been previously displayed in
this gallery will be accepted. LynnArts reserves the right to refuse any
work.
Size: 24" x 36" maximum size for wall-hung pieces 18" x 24" maximum matted
and shrink-wrapped size for group bins, sculpture not to exceed 25 lbs.
Conditions: Entries are invited from all persons over 17 years of age. We
take pride in your work: no damaged work/frames. Artists must complete the
itemized inventory list of all pieces dropped off at LynnArts, Inc. NO TAGS
ARE REQUIRED THIS YEAR. Any work left after the pick-up dates becomes the
property of LynnArts, Inc.
Quantity: maximum of 10 works per artist for paintings/sculpture; up to 4
may be wall-hung or sculptures, up to 6 may be matted and shrink-wrapped
pieces (for group bins) and/or table sculptures to fit into a 2' x 2' space.
Crafters (scarves, cards, bags) may submit up to 15 items. If in the past
you have been contacted to bring more work, you may bring in up to 25
pieces.
Pricing: maximum sale price $300 per piece. 75% of retail price goes to
the artist, 25% of sale price goes to LynnArts. It is our experience that
affordable work sells much better; please consider submitting works under
$100.
Drop-off dates: November 6, 8, 10am-4pm, November 7, 11am-7pm, November 9,
11am-4pm. Extended days: November 11, 10am-4pm, and November 12, 10am-4pm
Pick-up dates: Unsold work may be picked up: January 2, 11am-7pm, January
3, 10am-4pm, and January 4, 11am-4pm (Checks for work sold will be issued
and sent out the week of Monday, January 6).
Entry fee: $15 per artist, no additional fee if more work is requested.
Commission: LynnArts, Inc. retains a 25% commission on all work sold during
the show.
Liability: Artwork will be insured upon arrival at LynnArts. We reserve the
right not to insure works that are damaged or structurally unsound. Works
left at LynnArts beyond the stated pick-up date are not insured and will be
charged a $5 per day/per piece fee.
