Lesley Bannatyne writes on Halloween, folklore and the arts and has appeared on television specials for Discovery and the History Channel ("The Haunted History of Halloween"), interviewed with Time, Slate, and National Geographic magazines, and has given talks at venues as diverse as the 2000 Halloween Convergence in New Orleans and the St. Louis Art Museum. She has written five books on Halloween, and contributed a Halloween article to World Book Encyclopedia. Bannatyne's books will be available for signing at the event.
