CALLING ALL SOMERVILLE ARTISTS...
artisans, musicians, craftsmen, teachers, and people with unique skills:
We are looking for individuals who can teach a 50 minute class as part of Somerville Skillshare, a day of free classes that will be held at the Somerville Armory on March 2nd, 2014.
Skillshares are happening all over the country in places like Brooklyn, Baltimore and Seattle. Now we’re bringing one to Somerville. From 12-6 pm, the Somerville Armory will host up to 36 free classes in six different spaces (two conference rooms, performance hall, café, yoga studio, and dance studio). Classes will be held in “conference” format, with multiple tracks happening simultaneously.
Artists, artisans, musicians, craftsmen, and teachers: this is a great way to gain exposure for your work while participating in a highly publicized, community wide educational event.
You’ll also meet other members of your community who share similar interests and passions.
Japanese bookbinding, home brewing, salsa dancing, charcoal drawing, web design, yoga, bicycle maintenance, juggling, poetry, knitting, etc...whatever your skill, nothing is out of bounds.
