Panopticon Gallery has partnered with the Photographic Resource Center at Boston University to co-host: In Conversation with Harold Feinstein, moderated by Jim Fitts. This intimate gallery talk and event will take place at Panopticon Gallery on Thursday, August 8th from 6-8pm.

On First Contact is not a sci-fi themed exhibition, rather an exhibition of film-based images much smaller than the contemporary norm. Panopticon Gallery will be hosting this exhibition from September 12 through January 14, 2014 which will feature many local, national and international artists including Agnieszka Sosnowska, Keith Carter, Adam Katseff, Neal Rantoul, Stephen DiRado, Brian Kaplan, Frank Armstrong, Frank White, Cheryle St. Onge, Herb Greene, Stanley Forman, Douglas Prince, Elizabeth Ellenwood, Samuel Quinn, Erik Schubert, Christine Baczek, Amber Wachtl, Ivana George, Greg Norstrom and others to be announced.
This exhibition of contact prints and oversized contact sheets will give viewers the opportunity to see the exact, uncropped and unmanipulated view that the photographer saw when creating their images.
Opening Reception with the Artists will be held on Thursday, September 12th from 5:30-7:30pm.
