Join the annual fundraising gathering for the Palestinian House of Friendship and Smiling Faces Summer Camps. Learn about life under occupation from a peacemaker, organizer, educator, and father. View photos of the current reality and of the camps that seek to give respite to the children. Middle Eastern food and entertainment will be provided!
Somerville Climate Action and Rep. Denise Provost Film Series

Somerville Climate Action is a grass-roots collaborative working for a safe and stable climate while helping to build a resilient, just, and sustainable community. This month's film is "Urban Roots: When Everything Collapses, Plant Your Field of Dreams", about urban farming in Detroit. A discussion about urban farming in Somerville will follow. Co-sponsored by Rep. Denise Provost.
World Connection: Mali Benefit Concert

Somerville Songwriter Sessions

This month's session features local talents Brendan Hogan, Frank Morey, and Casey Abrams. Each will perform a solo set, after which the three will join together for a round-robin song exchange.

Join us for the East Coast Premiere of NOMAD! Along with the film screening we will have several other musicians and artists playing music and showing their art.
Exhibit: Places, Faces and Musicians of Mali

As part of World Connection's 15th anniversary, there will be a photo art exhibition with stunning photos of projects, people, and places. Highlights of the World Connections projects will be featured with an emphasis on the musicians of Mali.
