Art & Cultural Events List

The 779 Art Collective is a group of Boston University students and faculty who are committed to using art as a tool for inspiring community conversations about gun violence and gun control. We are seeking submissions from artists everywhere of artwork that addresses this issue and/or reflects on the following sentence: “A free people ought to be armed with ____” Submissions can be images of still work or short videos. The selected artwork will be projected onto the side of a building in the 800 block of Commonwealth Avenue in May.

All artists selected will receive a $100 honoraria.
