Juried show and silent auction for the THERESA INDIA YOUNG Memorial Mass Art scholarship. ARTWORK in 2-D mediums SOUGHT FOR MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND EXHIBIT & AUCTION 50% of the auction proceeds to the Scholarship, 50% to the artist. Send three images via US Post , maximum size 600 pixels, jpgs on cd or thumbdrive to: South End Public Library c/o Anne Smart 685 Tremont St, Boston Ma, 02118. Deadline: November 10, 2012. Along with submission of art work for consideration send a $20 handling fee & fund contribution, checks made out to: Fiscal Agent/United South End Artists where Theresa was a director for many years. Opening gala and show sponsored by United South End Settlements. Jurors: Barry Gaither, Director Museum of Afro-American Art, Dale Patterson, the Piano Factory.
