SCATV Gallery Welcomes Joyce Hanlon October 2 - 26, 2012 STILL MOTION, Joyce Hanlon’s exhibit, is a collection of her handcrafted quilts which will be on exhibit at the SCATV Gallery during the month of October Hanlon describes herself as a textile artist and quilter. When asked about the inspiration for the vibrant patterns she creates, this artist will tell you it’s all about “the constant motion inherent in nature!” It is hard to believe that her quilts started with random pieces of fabric. Hanlon’s quilts capture the movements of wind, water and earth and reveal wonderful stories about volcanoes and mountains. SCATV Gallery is located at 90 Union Square, Somerville, MA.
