Creative Writing workshop for teens hosted by Ethan Gilsdorf, author of Fantasy Freaks and Gaming Geeks: An Epic Quest for Reality Among Role Players, Online Gamers, and Other Dwellers of Imaginary Realms. http://www.ethangilsdorf.com Workshop meets Tuesdays beginning Oct 2nd and continuing through Oct 23rd, from 6 - 7:30 pm in the Teen Room at the Somerville Public Library. This is an excellent opportunity for young writers to explore the possibilities of fiction and non-fiction writing; including poetry, memoirs, and plot and character development. We'll do writing exercises and share what we create in an inviting and encouraging atmosphere. Open to all teens ages 13-17, regardless of hometown. Each workshop is a stand-alone program; no need to come to all 4 workshops (though it is encouraged). Pizza and drinks will be provided.
