CAMBRIDGE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA CONCERT - June 24, 2012
Please join the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra for a free concert, Pops on the Lawn, on Sunday at 3 p.m. in Sennott Park, (Broadway at Norfolk Street) Cambridge. Bring your children, your picnic blankets, and lots of sunscreen.
You'll hear symphonic music ranging from Beethoven and Copland to the film scores of E.T., Superman, and West Side Story. And you'll be supporting the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra as we conclude a dynamic season. The Cambridge Symphony Orchestra, a community orchestra, includes numerous musicians from Somerville, and our Music Director Cynthia Woods is Somerville-based.
This free concert is supported in part by a Volunteer Ventures grant from MetLife, and by the Cambridge Arts Council, a local agency which receives support from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
In case of inclement weather, check our website www.cambridgesymphony.org for rain location.
