Cambridge Symphony Orchestra Benefit Concert for Disabled Veterans - May 19, 2012

Please join us for an exciting and meaningful concert this Saturday at 8 PM at Sanders Theater, Harvard University (more details at our webpage http://cambridgesymphony.org/event/benefit-concert-for-disabled-veterans )  
Help us support Disabled American Veterans in its charitable work.  (DAV will receive a portion of ticket proceeds; DAV and three other nonprofit organizations that serve our disabled veterans will have lobby space and collect direct voluntary donations as well.) 

The concert will feature the world premiere of a work commissioned from Pulitzer Prize-nominated composer Harold Farberman, with soloists Rochelle Bard, Soprano, and Jonathan Nussman, Baritone. Also, the acclaimed pianist Jonathan Bass as soloist in Maurice Ravel's Piano Concerto for the Left Hand.  

The Cambridge Symphony Orchestra is a community orchestra serving Somerville as well as Cambridge, and many of our musicians are your Somerville friends or neighbors.  Our Music Director Cynthia Woods is a Somerville resident.  Tickets purchased on our website www.cambridgesymphony.org before 3 PM Friday are just  $5 (children under 12)$12 (students and seniors) and $15 (adults). After that, tickets may be purchased either at the Harvard University Sanders Theater box office online, or at the door for $5/$15/$20.
