ELECTRONICS RECYCLING EVENT - May 30, 2009
Saturday, May 30 - 9am-1pm
Somerville: Parking lot next to Dilboy Field
off Route 16/Alewife Brook (Across from Gulf gas station)
Free for residents from Somerville, Cambridge, Arlington & Belmont.
Businesses must pre-register by May 27 and will be invoiced for items ($7 per computer monitor / TV and $5 for each additional item. Commercial loads that do not register by May 27, will be turned away. To register, call 603-422-7711 or email tfatcheric@crtprocessing.com.
Please check the lists below to see what is and is not accepted. Stay in your vehicle. Items will be removed for you.

* Television Sets** (all sizes)
* Personal Computers
* Printers / Scanners / Fax machines
* Calculators
* Cell phones
* Electronic Scales
* Keyboards & Mice
* Microwaves
* Radios
* Stereos
* Telephones
* Toasters
* Vacuums
** Visit www.dtv2009.gov or call 1-888-CALL-FCC for a $40 coupon toward a TV converter box so that you can keep your TV after the digital TV transition on June 12th.
NO
* No White Goods (ex. Air Conditioners, Dehumidifiers, Refrigerators)
* No Batteries
* No Car Parts
* No Chemicals
* No Light Bulbs
* No Hazardous Waste
* No Metal Waste
* No Mercury Items
* No Tires
If you cannot make the event, check to see how residents can recycle computers/TVs, cell phones, or other household electronics.
