The Public Safety Center selection committee at the University of Central Florida would like this project to result in a memorial to UCF Police Officers fallen in the line of duty. The committee has identified the exterior courtyard to the building entrance as the ideal location for the memorial. The courtyard dimensions are 22'8" X 17'6" and will serve as the main thoroughfare to and from the Public Safety and Police Department. The winning proposal will include a solution for including the names of past and fallen future officers. There is no entry fee and the art allocation for this project is $43,000.
