FRESH POND RESERVATION MUSHROOM SPECIAL #3 - September 28, 2008

Maynard Ecology Center, Basement of Neville Place, 650 Concord Avenue, Cambridge
Join mycologist Lawrence Millman for a mushroom foray at Fresh Pond. You will learn diagnostic techniques for mushroom identification as well as unlearn everything you've ever been told about how to tell a poisonous from a non-poisonous species. Bring a handlens (if you have one) and a sense of adventure. You may even find a species that's new to the Fresh Pond list, which now includes over 100 different species!
