The January 5th deadline is quickly approaching for "Inappropriate
Touching" a group show of Dirty comics and drawings presented by the
Washington Street Art Center, on view Friday, February 1st through
Saturday, February 23rd in the WSAC gallery.

The show will feature a diverse selection of comics and 2D work from
local talent, as well as published comic artists and illustrators from
across the US and abroad. The theme of the show encompasses work that
is pornographic or sexually explicit as well 'dirty' in its off-color
humor or edgier sensibility.

The deadline for submissions is this Saturday, January 5th, via email
in the form of digital images with actual dimensions and titles. There
is no limit for the number of submissions, so feel free to send as
many images as you want that you think would be appropriate for the show.

Accepted pieces will need to be dropped off at WSAC by January 25th or
before, priced and ready to hang.

There is going to be a super-fun opening reception on Friday February
first featuring dirty live music from Angela (brooklyn) The Real Life
Time Machines (Boston), refreshments and more. Depending on permission
from the artists involved in the show, I will also be putting together
an informal catalog-zine of the show which will be for sale in the
gallery and around town to raise money for the free music shows at
WSAC (this is optional however, nothing will be reproduced without
permission).

Please pass this call or my contact information along to anyone you
think it might interest. Also, if anyone readings this is interested
in submitting work for the show, but will not be able to provide
digital images to me by Saturday, please contact me directly via email
or phone by this weekend so we can plan accordingly.

I can't wait to see the rest of the submissions, all the work I've
received so far has been totally amazing, I'm so excited about this show!
