WINTER WILDFLOWER IDENTIFICATION - December 9, 2007

Yes, you can identify wildflowers in winter! The dried stalks, leaves, and seed-heads of many plant species are unique and easy to recognize. During this program we will use the “Winter Weed Finder” by Dorcas Miller to help with identification. (We have copies to lend or sell for $4.00 each.) This is a great way to enjoy nature despite the cold weather. Please dress for spending most of the time outside and off-path.
