Volunteers Needed at Brookline Arts Center

The Brookline Arts Center is a community-based organization and our corps of enthusiastic volunteers are probably the most important support for our many exciting art education programs.

Every day, volunteers come to the arts center to greet visitors in the gallery, to assist the staff in the office, to assist teachers in classes, to help prepare the center for an Opening Reception in the gallery, to work on Crafts Showcase or to help plan a special fundraising event. It’s a great way to meet your neighbors, to give back to the community, to develop your job skills, to meet your fellow artists, and to learn more about galleries and contemporary art.

Some long-term volunteers have filmed documentaries with Arts Center artists, photographed arts center programs and special events, organized artist gallery talks at the BAC, led gallery programs, assisted in drop-in art projects, and lots more. If you have a few hours to share with us, we would love to welcome you into the Arts Center community of artists.

Please see the volunteer information below. Contact the BAC office if you prefer to have an information packet mailed to you, or to find out about current opportunities.
