Come to Spring Fling on Thursday, April 19 from 5PM to 8PM to begin a new year of 3rd Thursdays in Lynn’s Central Square. Celebrate the first of the monthly outdoor events in downtown with an evening of art, music and fun. The third exciting year starts off at 5PM with the Lynn High School Marching, Concert and Jazz bands. LynnArts presents the exhibit Art as Process and a retrospective of the work of North Shore artist Dick Buckley. Drop-in at Raw Art Works from 6:30PM for an all-ages art-making activity, From Seed to Flower. At 7:30PM the Lynn Museum presents the 9th Annual Lynn Poetry Night featuring Contemporary Women Poets of the North Shore in conjunction with North Shore Community College. In addition, find answers to your garden and spring home improvement needs from area businesses. Events are free and open to the public.
