BOSTON CYBERARTS FESTIVAL SEEKS VOLUNTEERS - May 6, 2007
Calling All Volunteers!
The Boston Cyberarts Festival is seeking volunteers to help staff and run a variety of events in the Boston area between April 20-May 6, 2007. Volunteers are needed for the following:
* Hosting CyberArtCentral at Art Interactive in Central Square, Cambridge. This is the Festival Headquarters. Festival information, and selling merchandise will happen on-site. Some basic computer skills needed (training provided);
* Ushering and registering audience members for various events within the Ideas in Motion conference and event series;
* Visiting various events within the Festival in order to hand out and collect surveys from the public;
* Other opportunities to be determined.
Volunteers are needed from 10am-6pm Tues-Fri, 10am-6pm on Saturday, and 12-6pm on Sunday. There are also a few evening shifts as well. Shifts are four hours each and volunteers are asked to sign up for at least two time-slots (or more!). Aside from being a part of the largest collaboration of art organizations in New England and sharing the diverse and exciting events in the Festival with the public, volunteers get a Festival t-shirt and a CD-ROM catalog.
