LOGO DESIGN COMPETITION - April 2, 2007

Calling All Graphic Artists

Design a New Logo for
East Somerville Main Streets

Wanted: New Logo for East Somerville Main Streets (ESMS). ESMS seeks
a new logo to use for print and web collateral. The logo should
reproduce well in newsletters, flyers, T-shirts, mugs, etc. ESMS
seeks an image that conveys activity (especially pedestrian activity),
sense of welcome, community, and the character of East Somerville.
The logo should be bold and not too "busy." The logo must include the
name, East Somerville Main Streets; this logo could be only text or
text and image.

Juried By: ESMS board of directors.

Winner: Receive $150 (and get your design out there for the world to
see).

How: Submit a sketch, or low-res jpeg. Use of color is great, but

TIFF and JPEG formats. East Somerville artists are especially
encouraged to apply.

address.

Questions: Carrie Dancy, ESMS Director at: dancyc@gmail.com

Deadline: Email or Postmarked by Monday, April 2, 2007.

OUR MISSION:
The mission of ESMS is to help build East Somerville as a thriving,

serve and employ residents.

ESMS, initiated by Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone in 2006, works in
collaboration with business owners, residents, agencies, and
neighborhood groups to make East Somerville a great place to live work
and socialize.
