GLACIERS AT FRESH POND

Meeting Place: Clubhouse Parking Lot

691 Huron Avenue, Cambridge
We will walk from the Clubhouse to the Maynard Ecology Center (1 mile), while observing the land forms created by the Laurentide Glacier that once covered all of New England. At the MEC there will be demonstrations illustrating the dynamics of melting ice, and hands-on activities that include making topographical maps.
