Animals have adapted to winter in a variety of ways ranging from migration to hibernation to rapid metabolism and warm fur or feathers. We will investigate the survival strategies of a number ofanimals that spend all or parts of their lives at Fresh Pond Reservation. Dress warmly: we will spend some time outside.
