Japanese Taiko drumming - February 11, 2007

Come experience the powerful and exhilarating rhythms of Japanese Taiko drumming!

Odaiko New England (http://www.onetaiko.org/) will begin a new multiple week class session on February 25 at Third Life Studio, and will be offering an Introductory Workshop on February 11. This workshop is a great opportunity to come try Taiko first before committing to an ongoing class!

Taiko is a Japanese style of drumming. It combines elements of rhythm, movement,
energy and power. Taiko is challenging both physically and mentally while also being
invigorating! (In other words, be ready to sweat!) Odaiko New England is an established performing arts organization in the Boston area and has shared taiko with over a thousand students over the past 12 years.

More details on the workshop and the class below. For more info, or to register for either, please contact: Mark H. Rooney at mhrooney@onetaiko.org or 781-721-0521
