FREE GUITAR INSTRUCTION - December 10, 2006
Free Instruction for Acoustic Guitar/Musicianship/Inner Work Beginning
September 10th,
From Sunday, September 10th to Sunday, December 10th 7:45 to 8:45, Sunday nights the Guitar Circle New England will be offering a weekly meeting for free instruction on
plectrum (flat pick) acoustic guitar playing. Work will be done in Guitar Craft's New Standard Tuning (CGDAEG) and will address both the discipline of musicianship as a path of inner
work and the fundamentals of playing the acoustic guitar. Guitar Craft is an approach to guitar playing begun by Robert Fripp 21 years ago, as a balanced and integrated approach to instrument, musicianship, and self.
There is no prerequisite for experience; the door is open to absolute beginners as well as experienced players. At the completion of this offer should any wish to continue working in
the circle there will be a normal fee applied, for which financial assistance is readily available where necessary.
